Experiences with Emisshield® Coatings at Steenfabriek Engels: Independent Study by TCKI Confirms Energy Savings
Emisshield® coatings, applied in the tunnel kiln at Steenfabriek Engels, resulted in a 15% reduction in gas consumption and a 40 °C lower firing temperature.
The results, validated by TCKI and published in KGK Magazine, demonstrate how ceramic manufacturers can reduce energy use without structural modifications to their kilns.
